I believe most people got the WL or admit within a few hours, dings via mail a few days later.

Can someone else confirm?

Decision Finalized Monday - no e-mail or status changes - was expecting the worst - but just received acceptance letter via snail mail today! Still no e-mail acceptance!

I should clarify that my husband is the one who got accepted - lol he told me to go ahead & register for this site to tell people who didn't get an e-mail right away after their "decision finalized" status =) We were pretty scared - looked like there was a surefire pattern going on w/immediate e-mail acceptances. He got a 168LSAT, & a 3.2GPA.

It could be in the spam box. There's also the element of human error on the part of admissions, which is never reassuring. I had one school enter by birthday incorrectly even though it was correct on the application, delaying my ability to check my status. Another school also micorrectly filed a LOR from my undergraduate dean's office/letter of good standing and that error was discovered after I had 4 copies sent and finally threw a mini-fit at admissions when they claimed to have never received any of them...but I digress

Anywho, the important part is your husband got in! So congrats!! :)

Oh - & the letter did say that he should have already received an e-mail confirmation of his acceptance - which def. didn't happen.

Yeah - we are thinking admin error, maybe - because his spam mailbox is empty & USC has the right e-mail address. He has never received e-mail notices whenever his status changed, either. Thanks! We were super scared - I got into LMU's School Psych grad program & need to give them a response in 2 wks (we were only going to move to LA if both of us got accepted) ... we were scared he was still going to be without a decision by the time my deposit is due... phew! huge weight.... =) Now to find a freakin' place...

Yeah we were worried about his GPA - (3.2 Duke undergrad)... He submitted his app early January - then didn't hear anything until beginning of March - then was stuck in first review for 3 wks w/no movement. He actually sent a letter of cont'd interest, too.

LMU is near LAX, so if you stay in the West LA region, so if you find somewhere between Redondo Beach and Culver City, it'll be fairly central to both locations. If you can spare a weekend, I would really recommend visiting and looking at housing because it can get really confusing. There are a ton of tiny little neighborhoods and it's fairly common to find sketchy, unsafe areas just a few blocks away from really nice, expensive areas. In LA, what street, or what block of what street, can make a huge difference! I've been living in LA for the last couple of years, but am still discovering this now that I am trying to find a place closer to campus. From where I am now, I'm looking at a 1.5 to 2 hour commute each way even though it's only 30 miles...

So what time should I give up hope?
