Came in the mail this morning and I'm in Indianapolis.
Received 75k, but without the additional 5k for the first year.

$90,000 plus $5,000 one time summer thingy
SO relieved! This puts Vandy at a slightly lower price than my Texas offer. Vanderbilt has been my number one choice since the beginning, but I was going to have to do Texas if scholarships didn't come through. Whew
Does anyone know if we can expect to be able to negotiate? I seem to remember people saying they aren't keen on that. But with the decrease in applicants, they may be more flexible right?

Decision letter sent! If it was sent yesterday, what day should I give up hope of it being a black box?

^^Tuesday evening. (The Black Boxes are shipped 2nd day air, so IFF it is a black box, it should arrive on Tuesday.)

He's already been accepted. I suppose the offer wasn't enough to be a game changer.TUICE wrote:Waitlist?shntn wrote:Letter came. Game unchanged.

No, scholarship. It wasn't what I was hoping for, and given the other offers I have on the table, it doesn't bode well for me and Vandy.TUICE wrote:Waitlist?shntn wrote:Letter came. Game unchanged.

Is 110k is the most $ you can get aside from the named scholarships?

90+5. Game potentially changed. Looks like I'll have to visit Nashville.

$60k. Does Vandy give need based aid as well? Like should I bother applying?

$75k, pretty excited. Needed some good news from an otherwise disappointing cycle.
I don't know if I'd take any T14s at sticker over this; I'm becoming increasingly risk averse as I read more TLS.
