Imagine all these law profs up at this hour scrambling to get their scores into Asha. Seeing this site would give them a good laugh.

LOL. I have a strong suspicion that they're still admitting 12s and Asha picks. Correct me if you think otherwise.

Or they have too many 11s and are deciding their fate.

Do they usually put 10s on the WL or is it limited pretty much to 11s? I'm by no means a statistician so I honestly wouldn't be surprised if what I'm about to say is 100% incorrect but:

Wouldn't 10 from faculty review mean 2 "3's" (i.e. 50th-75th percentile of applicants) and 1 "4" (75th-100th percentile of applicants) (this is assuming that if at least 1 professor is giving you a 4, that none are giving you a 2)?

If you take the upward bounds and weight them equally that'd be the 83rd percentile (10/12). We're talking about ~491 students based on last year's numbers. Seeing as how they only made 237 new offers (something like the top 8.1% of their applicants), that leaves a pretty enormous hole, especially considering that 11's and 12's are the top 8.4% of applicants. The 0.3% gap of their applicants from last year would constitute ~88. Does it make sense that, if they put ~100 on the wait list, that only 12 or fewer will be 10s?

And I also know that this is probably irrelevant because we'll never know if we are 11s, 10s, or something worse.

Asha only gives the profs 1000 applications, after she chooses 50-80 presumptive admits. So the profs are choosing the top 150-180(15%-18%) out if the top 1/3 of applicants which amounts to top 5-6% of applicants after Asha picks the top 2-3%.

Ahhhhhh okay that makes so much more sense. I knew I had read SOMEWHERE that they put 10s on the wait list--I had no idea that she gave reviewers so few applications.

There are zero other explanations at this point except that they are lazy or fucking with us.

yeah at this point i think its clear we are going to be part of a massive wave given the way things have gone down, which means either WL or Ding. MOnday was their goal so we will probably hear today or tomorrow

Looks like the Tumblr was just refreshed 5 minutes ago with 213--no change.
