I open Gmail and scan the email address. First I see "lawinfo." Heart rate increases rapidly. Not only that, "lawinfo@yu.edu." Well people don't really abbreviate Yale as "YU" but that WOULD stand for Yale University.
I freak out for a second before I read the subject: "Cardozo Law - There's Still Time to Apply."

My phone went off while I was running. It's a touch chilly and I was wearing layers, so I had to stop and it was this general production to extract it from my armband thing.
Groupon. It was totally Groupon.
This is entirely LSAT score release week part 2.

I don't even think they are admitting people today. I think they just tell us this so they can watch us post ridiculous things ITT.

TBF, they lost power yesterday which might've messed things up.bluecouch wrote:I don't even think they are admitting people today. I think they just tell us this so they can watch us post ridiculous things ITT.
Or they're in for the long troll.

They have to tell me something eventually... right?callmemaybe84 wrote:Only you knew you were going to get an LSAT score...edgeofthenight wrote:My phone went off while I was running. (Also, my phone went off AGAIN just as I read this message. Completely jumped out of my skin. It was the library. I owe them money. I feel like this isn't really the time to tell me that.)
And another similarity - LSAT score release week was during super-cheap Halloween candy time. Now it's super-cheap Easter candy time. Do LSAC/Yale own stock in diabetes meds or something?

Thoughts on whether they'll even notify anyone today? I know they had expected too, but... [silence]
Sorry guys, missed the latest posts. I guess we're all feeling similarly.

Also--do you think they're trying to admit most of the people by tomorrow given that it's the deadline for responding to ASW?

Definitely. I have a message out to a friend who said she was admitted "on the last day" last year, so I'll report back to everyone when I know what day that was...socrates88 wrote:Also--do you think they're trying to admit most of the people by tomorrow given that it's the deadline for responding to ASW?

They said that the deadline doesn't matter (we should disregard it when registering for ASW) in the admit email. Facebook group count is 170.socrates88 wrote:Also--do you think they're trying to admit most of the people by tomorrow given that it's the deadline for responding to ASW?

So apparently in past years the Facebook count got up to 212. Sounds like there's still room...edamame wrote:They said that the deadline doesn't matter (we should disregard it when registering for ASW) in the admit email. Looks like the YLS 2015 group has 252 members and the YLS 2014 group has 270 members. Obviously, some admins, current students and deferees join.

Is it really possible that no one from TLS got in today or did they just not do acceptances?

Anyone have any ideas about when those of us who submitted right before the deadline will hear?

Yeah so nothing went out today. Sort of weird that they would specifically say that acceptances would go out all three days and then not do it, unless they plan on making the 1 a.m. emails acceptances this time.edamame wrote:Edit: One more added.
