+1. Complete 12/6, but did make a rather infuriating mistake. I wouldn't even really have anticipated scoring an 11, but I don't know why I haven't been rejected yet...jselson wrote:So I guess the 1 AM email was the complete wave. Survived the night, mid-Jan complete, but expecting a ding or WL at best in two weeks since I made an obvious mistake on my app. Maybe they're moving on to the 11s?

Do you all think there will be much more movement this week (acceptances/dings)? It looks like in past years there have been tricklings of decisions in between the second big ding wave and the waitlist wave.

Still alive... complete around Thanksgiving, numbers lower than a bunch of the people who were posting dings.
I'm very intrigued. And I'm sure several people from the 203 are going to call me today...
(not Yale, like... wrong numbers)

No news here as well. Went complete first week of December.
My condolences to those dinged last night/this morning. Fortunately, looks like most of you still have fantastic options.

There's way too many of us still alive to interpret no news as good news, at least that's my takepermapress wrote:currently experiencing a lot of feelings rn, somebody tell me what i should be feeling if i'm still alive

Also still alive. Submitted in the middle of December. Like TrustInMusic, just waiting for the ax to fall.

Re: Yale c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013 cycle)
The myLSN chart shows quite a few denials in April for Jan and Feb completes, so I don't think we're out of the woods yet (and by out of the woods, I mean heading towards a waitlist no one gets off of). Earlier completes look like a good bet for WL.
I'm still alive but I'm sure WL is my best case scenario. Late Jan complete, stats in profile.

I don't know, there's 21 dings on LSN, I imagine more will be updated throughout the day, and that'll be in line with previous ding waves. But I think there will be another wave in a few weeks with both dings and WL.TrustInMusic wrote:Still alive.

FYI, last year they sent out a bunch of dings late Thur. night/Fri. morn, then followed it up with a bunch of dings the following (Friday) afternoon. On LSN this looks like one wave.

Thanks, Eli. I really appreciate that. The only thing surprising about my ding was that it came right at the end of April Fools' Day. Other than that, I had always known my chances were slim to none. This effectively ends my cycle. Good luck!Eli wrote:facile princeps wrote:Lighthouseman wrote:Yep.wert3813 wrote:Yale is sending out 1 AM Dings?
Facile, I was seriously rooting for you with Yale.. still, you landed on your feet with style. Congratulations on such a great cycle. You rocked it, man. Cheers!

There's been a rejection reported for a March app. Although nothing's certain in admissions, that should give you some perspective.rocktower3 wrote:We're talking end of Feb late :/edamame wrote:When did you go complete / submit?rocktower3 wrote:Also still alive, but late submitter so possibly no one has even cracked my file open yet. So if the trend from last year continues, then the next ding wave should go out in an hour or so. And some folks might get acceptances, too.

Oh hey, maybe I've survived into faculty review! Who knows. This is my last decision so extra- ready to get this over with!edamame wrote:There's been a rejection reported for a March app. Although nothing's certain in admissions, that should give you some perspective.rocktower3 wrote:We're talking end of Feb late :/edamame wrote:When did you go complete / submit?rocktower3 wrote:Also still alive, but late submitter so possibly no one has even cracked my file open yet.
