how many waiters do we have on TLS alone, ~20? so maybe what ~120 total? probably 10 more admit spots?

I've received two Yale-related emails in the past two hours that were horrible teases.

AZ, why do you think 10 spots? And how did you hear all decisions would made by 4/15?

just to provide context again, the WL will be about 100 once they are done accepting/rejecting people.

Counting 20 TLSers in the past 3 pages. I would have gone go back further, but it occurred to me that that the methods I'm using to procrastinate on my thesis are verging into insanity.

We've got at least another massive ding wave. Bleh.

I'm about to get on a flight to Las Vegas. I'd really love some good news when I land, as it will give me a reason to celebrate even harder than I already plan to.

You can do it Asha! Keep the dream alive!

Why do you guys think some 3/4's have heard but not earlier submits? Do you think Asha gives groups of similar applications to professors and has been holding some to deliver in later groups?

I think the people who get accepted hear first in a trickle and them save the rejections for a wave

This, and the 3/4 batch is probably unique in that it was the last day, so asha likely put them together and sent to profs who she knew were fast, or there were just a lot of auto-admits who applied on 3/4 cuz they knew that they were so awesome that they would still get in

would it really be too much to ask for them to tell us via twitter when they'll be emailing stuff out this weekend?

Dear YLS,

Will you be releasing decisions tonight? Tomorrow? Sunday? Monday? None of the above? All of the above?

Please let us know via Twitter. It will certainly save us some anxiety (well, at least me!) and would be very sweet of you.

Love,
LadyBerry

So if you have not heard anything from admissions is that a good or bad thing at this point?

FYI: The Facebook group hasn't budged; it's still 210.

I can't answer to that. Keep in mind that YLS's admit program is this Thursday, Apr. 18, but their deposit deadline is May 3, which is later than any other T14 school.
