^^Correct. Approx. 40% of BC Frosh live on Newton Campus. Their ID's do not allow access to the LS, however.

I stand corrected! With that said, I did not get the feeling while visiting BC that the campus was filled with undergrads. This was not the case at BU.

I haven't heard nothing out of BU or BC. Got in at Fordam, WUSTL....all put in a little later than those, what the hell is the hold up.

I am in the same boat. LSN indicates that BC is now accepting hoards of 163s, 162's, and even 161's, but I have better stats and am still on hold. It is very frustrating.

Yah it's unusual, especially in a year of declining applicants. The admissions at BC this year has been weirdly, dare I say it, holistic???

did you add a 'Why BC?'-style addendum? BC is big on its Jesuit heritage, and it helps to show that such an education is a good fit for you, and more importantly, what you bring to that table.

Also, when did you apply? According to the posters on LSN, BC appears to be reviewing November apps right now.

On that note, do you think coming from another Jesuit college will help my app? One of my recommenders is a Jesuit and another one is a ThD

I went complete on 10/16 and was held in December. I sent a LOCI in early January and emailed on Friday to see if I could sit-in on a class. I went under review later that afternoon.

This was more or less my experience. I interacted with them (visited/sat in) and the day after I went back under review.

It would definitely help IFF the Jesuit ideals of 'scholarship, loyalty and service' come through on your PS.

They actually do! My PS is really really non traditional but those ideals are almost the backbone of it.
Plus I wonder if having a LOR from a Jesuit helps with BC.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
