Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
Just realized there might not be an email, because the status checker said "A decision has been made on your application to Boston College Law School by the Admissions Committee. A decision letter will be mailed via U.S. Postal Service within 3 days from the Decision Status Date and will be sent to your PERMANENT address. If a decision is made after January 15, 2013, the Decision letter was mailed to your current address. "
Another snail mail...

they can't just post a decision on the status checker? seems a bit cruel to me.

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
Also got a decision rendered notice.
I had a call yesterday with someone from the office who wanted to follow up on some questions on my application, but it went extremely well and I think that it meant good things.
Furthermore, a check on LSN shows that most of the first decisions rendered last year were Acceptances. So hopefully good news for all.

Also had my status checker changed to decision rendered. The wait for snail mail is brutal, at least Vandy's only take two days. Good luck everyone.

I think acceptances are sent via email (w/ video). Right?

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
If you look at last years applicants, rejections came in snail mail but acceptances came in via email (with a packet coming via snail mail days alter). Both had "Decision Rendered" as the status checker status. Someone can look back and correct me if wrong..
If you got in, you won't have to wait for the snail mail. At least last years applicants didn't..

If they send rejections through snail mail, it will be a waste of paper...Or, at least, I hope they won't do that...

I have a friend that applied last year and said his rejection came right away via email... wasn't sure how acceptances were sent.

Earliest decisions are typically acceptances. I feel like these early folks have nothing to worry about.

I'm a pessimist with low numbers (aka. I'm a huge downer), but the thread last year shows some of the people who got "decision rendered" first were rejected.

Good to know. Well my productivity just went out the window for the day. I will post immediately if I receive the email. It would be great if others do the same.

I have a friend that got in last year with a 2.8/162... Rest assured, you have a shot.

Good luck to everyone who got decision rendered. Kind of wish the USPS didn't exist.

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
For those with the "Decision Rendered" on status checker, how long did it take between the time your application was under review for your status to change to Decision Rendered?
I'm sure a lot of us who just went under review are curious about this.
