Same....starrrting to get a tad irritated, but I'm sure it'll happen within their "8-12 weeks" (looking like the 12th week)

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
I emailed BC earlier in the week to see if I might hear by the 15th, and was told this exact line once again. I'm all for them taking some lee way to make a decision, but it's a fair request to have a decision by the 15th, as that'll be my 12th week on the dot, and they didn't even acknowledge the wait or the upcoming deadlines every other accepted and wait listed student has to contend with.Homelandsagreatshow wrote:Same....starrrting to get a tad irritated, but I'm sure it'll happen within their "8-12 weeks" (looking like the 12th week)
Edit: How does BC notify?

I've had reasonable success "negotiating" with BC. PM me if you wasn't advice or details.

Big gamble, given that only around 65% of the graduating class last year secured long-term, full-time jobs as lawyers (and most of them not highly-paid ones).DaRascal wrote:Anyone planning to go to BC at sticker? How do you feel about that?
I suppose if you've got someone else footing the entire bill or your family has millions in the bank or something, then money wouldn't be an issue, but then if that were the case, you wouldn't likely be asking this question.

True but if you're in the top 40% of your class or so, you have a chance at biglaw.Tremendous wrote:Big gamble, given that only around 65% of the graduating class last year secured long-term, full-time jobs as lawyers (and most of them not highly-paid ones).DaRascal wrote:Anyone planning to go to BC at sticker? If you're in the top 10% you have a chance of not making it apparently

Maybe, although that sounds a little optimistic. Better to be in the top 25% or third at minimum.DaRascal wrote:True but if you're in the top 40% of your class or so, you have a chance at biglaw.Tremendous wrote:Big gamble, given that only around 65% of the graduating class last year secured long-term, full-time jobs as lawyers (and most of them not highly-paid ones).DaRascal wrote:Anyone planning to go to BC at sticker? And I know is...I would not drop 200K or more to have less than a 40% shot at the job I want. Way too risky.
I don't know if you're serious or trolling given that you constantly use smiley faces and post about this issue of BC at sticker incessantly on this forum...

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
Unless you have a wealthy family behind you, I don't think any school below the T6 is worth sticker. And two of 'em (CN) are only worth sticker if you really want NYC .Anyone planning to go to BC at sticker?

Doesn't say anything about it on their website. I'd assume it's not a problem, but you should email/call them to ask for sure.ls23 wrote:anyone know BC's stance on putting down deposits at multiple schools?
