Just an FYI to those who just got a scholarship. I initially didn't hear anything so I emailed them, and got 22K after a few days. I negotiated once and got it raised to 25K. I am not above either median and don't have any strong softs, so the negotiation and the scholarships are there to be had. You just need to get in direct contact with them.

I'll be putting in my deposit tomorrow. I'll be logging off here for a while, although I'll pop into the BC 2016 threads occasionally. Good luck and for those attending in the fall, I'll see you then.

Woohoo. I called today about renegotiating my scholarship and they replied with an increase! Depositing as soon as I get home! See you in August!

Who did you speak with/ask for when you called?

I just called the main admissions number this morning. I think it just happened to be luck that one of the decision makers wasn't busy.

Has anyone tried contacting them for aid and gotten a hard "no" (besides internationals)? How long did you wait before you contacts them?

I got in 2 days ago and have basically the weekend to figure this all out, but I know some money would make it a lot more interesting of a discussion...

I called admissions today asking about scholarships and they told me that the next batch of scholarship emails should be going out tomorrow. It sounded like this is the last batch before the deadline. They were pretty vague about all this so don't crucify me if I'm wrong.

Where are you planning on attending 99.9luft? I noticed you've withdrawn most of your apps?

just received email for 22k per yr. success tactics in getting an increase? FYI called them earlier in the week - emailed last evening - this may have helped in getting the award today or perhaps they are squeezing them all out before the Monday deposit deadline.

Apparently Agora logins are supposed to be going out today. Which will have financial aid info and I'm guessing deposit info.

Me too. Does the required documents section under financial aid mean they won't release final finaid info until we send in tax returns and w-2s?

This. Especially since the additional information they need seems to be from the undergraduate financial aid department which I imagine being different from the graduate financial aid department...

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who is confused at least. I mean, wasn't NeedAccess bad enough??
