Congrats to all recent admits. It seems like most from early November and late October have received their decisions. Hopefully those of us that submitted mid November will be hearing soon.

That's pretty surprising. Those numbers seem right on target for BC. And this is supposed to be a down year too.

This doesn't bode well for me... We have pretty much the same numbers unless BC decides to show some love for a higher GPA and lower LSAT. Ugh. My status hasn't moved since January 3rd.

Haha just commented on our equivalent stats over in the William and Mary thread. Lots of the same places applied to also. Cheers to the best cycle for the stats twins!

For sure, when did you submit your apps?

I got in last week.

I really threw a Hail Mary to a bunch of schools hoping to get lucky. I guess it really isn't just a numbers game with BC.

3.38/ 158

URM with pretty good softs. Hopefully I'll see some of you around in the fall.

Congrats to the admits and good luck to everyone else.

I submitted Jan 3rd because I erroneously retook the LSAT in December and made the exact same score. I suck at standardized tests :(

Do you have any ideas of what could have gone wrong? Has there been any other surprising decisions in your cycle?

Also wondering this. My GPA is aove but my LSAT is below. just wondering what BC has in mind for their entering class.

Looks like the only real difference in our apps is when we submitted then (11/28 for me)

Gonna go out on a limb and say that possibly URM status changes things. Look at NYUs numbers and laugh.

Pretty much. It will be interesting since you went UCLA and I went USC to see if different decisions are rendered. How quick did Fordham get back to you, btw?

Also, let me know when BU gets back to you. I debated for a long time between applying to BU or BC or both, but obviously went with just BC. I think I would prefer the living arrangements here.

Submitted 11/28, accepted 1/8.

Edit: I applied to UCLA instead of USC because they offered me a fee waiver & USC didn't.

skri65 wrote:With negotiation in mind, anyone have a guess what BC would consider peer schools besides BU? For example, UC Davis, Washington & Lee and William and Mary are all peer in terms of rankings, but would BC consider them peer considering BC's somewhat superior job prospects (biglaw) and location (major city)? Trying to see if BC would budge in terms of negotiation with either of the above three (or a full ride at schools in the 50-60 range)..

FWIW, no one has received scholly's yet from BC, this is all hypothetical..
I was thinking in terms of ranking/prestige/job prospects... I feel like Fordham/BU/BC are the most similar... perhaps GW? I wonder the same thing.
