Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
Ahhh ok I got you. Do you want NY or MA? Although BC is portable to NY, it's still harder to get biglaw there than in Boston (if that's your goal). Fordham is really expensive and hard to justify without a huge scholarship.[/quote]
I guess I would prefer NY. I have never been to Boston in my life. I applied to BC based entirely on its regional reputation and employment prospects. And yeah, Fordham tuition is up to 53k now. Disgusting.

I personally find it strange when people decide to go to a regional school when they have never been to the region...you may ultimately dislike boston but yet you are likely to spend the next 5 years, and possibly more if their career takes off there. If You would prefer NYC, go to Fordham or better yet retake is my personal opinion if you have never been to Boston. I perso ally love Boston..and it may just be me but I just wouldn't take the risk of being supremely unhappy in a city for potentially many years and being forced to stay there.

How stingy has BC been with fee waivers in year's past? I just solicited one (LSAT and GPA in 75th) and am from the area.

I have lower numbers and received a waiver via CRS.AlanShore wrote:I have similar numbers and I got one. I dont know if thats the norm though.Otunga wrote:How stingy has BC been with fee waivers in year's past? I just solicited one (LSAT and GPA in 75th) and am from the area.

For the BC Application, under the part that says College Entrance Exams did people put down their SAT scores or just check the box that said "this section does not apply to me" ?

I chose the latter. Been out of UG for a few years now and I don't have a clue what my SAT score was.Bajam wrote:For the BC Application, under the part that says College Entrance Exams did people put down their SAT scores or just check the box that said "this section does not apply to me" ?
