off the WL?
No initial decision
Did you apply late or were they holding on to your application for a long time?
Just trying to figure out if I am being punished for applying late.

I applied pretty late. Sent 2/4. My last update before this morning was 3/24.

For those who negotiated: how long did it take to hear back?

it seems theres a bunch of people who still havent heard decisions. im in the same boat (application only went complete 5/2). I was under the impression that lack of response this late was an automatic ding. any thoughts from people still waiting?

Weird... they bumped up my scholly pretty significantly today even though their deposit deadline was April 15 and I didn't deposit. Gave me a new deadline to deposit by, but I'm withdrawing. Good luck everyone!

Has anyone who's on the WL heard back yet?!
(Besides the email they sent almost two weeks ago?)

congrats! Any idea what got you off the WL? Like, did you send an LOCI or an additional LOR?

Thanks so much! I had included a short "Why BU" addendum with my application back in January and I responded to the waitlist email that was sent a couple weeks ago reaffirming my desire to attend-- I don't think it was a particularly strong LOCI, though. They said I'd get an email tomorrow with all my acceptance information. Need to make a decision by Thursday, eeek

I was really looking forward to moving to Boston, but unfortunately had to withdraw. For people on the waiting list, good luck! Hope you get my spot.

Has anyone on the WL contacted the admissions office to get an idea on how big the waitlist is or if there has been any movement? I've talked to an admissions councilor but everyone seem intent on being as vague as possible...

Just said thank you for letting us know that you want to remain on the WL. Much like the email I got when I initially asked to stay on.

Just got a voicemail from BU saying to call them regarding my WL decision. Does this mean I got in? If so, what are the chances I get a scholarship off of the WL?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
