Just received my packet... Pretty swank. That fold out info card is tight.

Pretty certain that bringing an s/o to an ASD/W is cool itcr.

you said you were a reach to get in.
may i ask, what your softs are or what you believe then got you the scholly offer of 5k/year?
congrats on getting money from fordham w/ those #s though. theyre one of the cheapest in the game

I do not think my softs had any impact. I would like to think that it was my personal statement that got me a boost, but it is looking more like a down year in admissions. From what I gathered, it looks like most of the people on LSN got atleast 15K total. In the grand scheme of things, 5k/year is nothing when you still pay 41k/year. It is clearly an odd year for law school admissions and trends are changing. It is promising for people with average numbers due to the decreased numbers. The top schools will always have the best students, but the regional schools applicants have a much better shot this year. Fordham has always been number 1 so if I can get them to atleast double my scholarship offer I would happily attend.

Well I'm pretty sure 30k is the biggest they'll give outside of the 2 full rides they give a year, so I don't think you'll get very far negotiating but you can always try. Do you want to work in NY? If so its still probably your best choice...

How long after the status changes are people receiving any info? I applied pretty late (2/7) but my status is 2/20 now. Just wondering when I can expect to hear something either way.

Just got in via e-mail. Anyone know what going to the New York market would be like for someone with zero ties?

Do people know how long after they receive the initial email that their packets came by mail? Also, sounds like Fordham is very stingy with scholarships, this is tough esp. considering how expensive Manhattan must be.

Well Manhattan is expensive but I live in Queens so i plan to commute but taking on that much debt just scares me. I don't know if it's worth it honestly but I love Fordham so i don't know what to do.

Edit: i was just accepted last friday and i haven't gotten anything in the mail yet. maybe today?

I applied 1/14 and was accepted yesterday! Does anyone know how long it takes to hear about scholarship money? I was hoping for some scholarship money, but I've been hearing that Fordham can be pretty stingy with it. Either way, I'm glad to be in, and I'll probably be at the March 3 ASD.

So, I'm assuming by all the 'in via status checker' posts that none of you guys are having issues with your status checker. Any ideas what's going on/having the same problem? Mine won't even load to the log-in page (but it will for other schools...)

Congrats! I applied the same day, I think, and just had an update on 2/25. How many updates did you have?

My status updated yesterday to 2/27. Anyone know how many updates there generally are before a decision?

I think the general consensus is 3 or 4 updates total (so like, the original complete and then 2 or 3 more)

I only had two. I went complete 2/6, then silence, then complete on 2/25ish. My numbers are 3.79/165

EDIT: Just received scholarship info a moment ago, 15k/yr. I'm pretty excited about that.
