Hey guys, not a regular poster on here, but I haven't been able to access Fordham's website at all in the last two days; I keep getting a message that it is under construction or has moved. Anyone else having this problem?

I had the same problem for a couple of hours yesterday, but the website has been working for me again since last night.mcf11 wrote:Hey guys, not a regular poster on here, but I haven't been able to access Fordham's website at all in the last two days; I keep getting a message that it is under construction or has moved. It didn't work for me until about 11pm last night and it seems to be down again today. Did all the 1Ls get their grades yet? Maybe they're crashing the site with constant checking?mcf11 wrote:Hey guys, not a regular poster on here, but I haven't been able to access Fordham's website at all in the last two days; I keep getting a message that it is under construction or has moved. I had that problem yesterday, seems to be back to normal today. I could get to the university's website but not the status checker or the law school.mcf11 wrote:Hey guys, not a regular poster on here, but I haven't been able to access Fordham's website at all in the last two days; I keep getting a message that it is under construction or has moved. Fordham is pissing me off. NYU gave me a decision in 10 days, but I haven't heard back from Fordham since going complete on 11/28. /end rant

This sounds like a good explanation to me haha I guess I will just have to be patient...as if waiting for all these decisions isn't already testing every ounce of patience in me hahah

Same boat. Maybe YP since your numbers are obviously too high for them?ph5354a wrote:Fordham is pissing me off. NYU gave me a decision in 10 days, but I haven't heard back from Fordham since going complete on 11/28. /end rant

From what I can tell Fordham doesn't seem to do YP. But they might be hesitant if you don't seem to show any interest in attending in your application. There's a Why Fordham option so maybe you write the additional essay, it might help you.swordking90 wrote:Same boat. Maybe YP since your numbers are obviously too high for them?

Getting nervous that I'd need to pay sticker to attend. Scholarship info is usually sent within 24 hours, right?

Re: Fordham c/o 2016/17 (2012-2013 Cycle)
I initially applied with my first LSAT score (166) so I thought I was right up their alley. Maybe with my second they assume that I'm no longer interested in them. Ah well. They're not too high on my list anymore, I'm just a little put off that some schools are so glacially slow at this process.totoro wrote:From what I can tell Fordham doesn't seem to do YP. My scholarship email came about two and a half weeks after acceptance. Don't freak out, and stay positive.

Oh, I totally get it. I’m only calm because I was accepted last year and deferred enrollment to 2013. The admissions process made me a high-strung lunatic for much of 2012.mcf11 wrote:30-Something wrote:It didn't work for me until about 11pm last night and it seems to be down again today. Thank you both! I was under the impression that it was nearly immediate or not at all, so I'll just dial it downletitloose wrote:Mine was 2 days later.bob loblaw11 wrote:Getting nervous that I'd need to pay sticker to attend. Scholarship info is usually sent within 24 hours, right?

Does Fordham's status checker ever change to "under review," or does it go straight from complete to decision?

Complete -> date changes (3?) -> Decision Rendered. At least for me anyway.doyouevenlift wrote:+1mg7 wrote:Does Fordham's status checker ever change to "under review," or does it go straight from complete to decision?

This... If I remember, you stay at complete until you get to "decision rendered."dproduct wrote:Complete -> date changes (3?) -> Decision Rendered.
