Waitlisted within the last hour, a little frustrating but knowing my numbers are slightly below their median average, can't say I'm too surprised. The waiting game begins.

Wait-listed! Surprising considering that I'm below both medians.

Retake in February. Also, try and show a strong commitment to attend, if accepted, to get off the waitlist (though, might want to wait until May - keep it fresh)
Don't lose hope, a guy in my section got pulled off the waitlist in July

Thanks for the advice! I'll consider the retake and will definitely follow up with a LOCI in May.

Fordham is one of my top choices and I live only a few blocks away from the school. I'm going to try and schedule a meeting with an admissions member, if possible. Do you think that will help, too?

WL with 166/3.51. Sort of surprised although I do have one non-academic CF issue at my undergrad.

i've actually heard from multiple friends that are students there that fordham has one of the genuinely nicest/happiest/least cutthroat student bodies of any law school. i couldn't be more excited to attend in the fall.

I wholeheartedly agree. In my section no one goes out of their way to screw anyone else and if you need it (e.g. missing a class, misplacing some notes) there are plenty of people willing to help you out. It was one of the reasons I picked the school and so far I've not been disappointed.

It's a discussion worth having. If I were considering attending a school I'd want to know if it was full of a bunch of a**holes
However, there's a difference between "friends" and "friend".

Speaking of cutthroat, shouldn't you be cramming and stressing for finals? heh

Waitlisted with 166/3.3, not unsurprised. Can't really get mad at this. Probably retake in Feb.
