I've posted several times that scholarships were awarded around the very end of March/beginning of April last year. I think a bunch of awards came out March 30/April 2 (Mon & Fri). Pretty sure my email came on the Monday.

Problem!

So, in filling out the NU scholly form, I wanted to skip ahead to see if there were any additional essay questions while I was in the middle of writing mine up, AND I CAN'T FIND A WAY TO GO BACK.

There is no back button at the bottom of the page, the browser's back button is disabled, and clicking the link in the email takes me to my last completed page.

Has anyone else run into this problem? I'm sure it can be fixed with a call/email to the financial aid office, but I'd prefer to have them operating under the assumption that I've got my shit together, know how to use a computer, and am not high-maintenance.

Any fixes?

If it let you go ahead that means you filled in all the required information, no?

edit: do you mean you skipped ahead from page 1 to 2, or skipped through page 2?

I answered the "Why NU?" question, got distracted and wanted to click ahead, so I entered "q" or some such shit in the "Aid" question, and then clicked continue and now seem stuck...

I'd delete your cookies so that you can start over, resubmit everything and let them know why you have 2 submissions. If it doesn't let you submit with the same LSAC # then I'd just email the aid essay to them with an explanation.

I don't know if this has been asked yet, but I saw on LSN that some people had already received scholarships from NU. Can someone explain? I uncharacteristically turned my scholarship form in early hoping it was really a rolling thing, and the financial aid person said they don't even look at them until the due date...

Early decision admits get $150k scholarship automatically.
A few applicants with good numbers but no work experience are offered $150k to defer a year to work and matriculate in 2014.
That's it.

Seriously?! I wish I had known that! I would have done early decision!

I probably sound really behind the times on this blog, but I work and I'm in grad school, so I didn't do all of the research I wish I would have.

Nope. But I think the deadline for AJD to deposit is March 15 so I doubt anyone will hear before that.

Just finished my interview via Skype yesterday. My time slot was 9:30am central time, which was 12:30 in the morning here in Japan. So tired I don't even remember what I said for some of the questions. 90% of the questions I got were on the list in the first page. But my interviewer also asked me followup questions regarding my job right now. I guess it's because I'm working full time and have been out of school for a few years. I really hope I didn't screw up my one and only chance of convincing them to take me. GAH!! :(

Best of luck to everyone else who's doing a late interview!

Why it seemed there was only one box to me? And it was able to fit my whole essay.. Or the image might be a lil blur here..

Johann agrees:

@tweetsbyjohann wrote:At this point, I do not anticipate any AJD waitlist admit offers to go out until much closer to the deposit deadline.

No way of knowing. Maybe in a month or so?

Btw I had the cash money to pay for NU out of pocket I would be swimming in said cash money in a Scrooge McDuck-like fashion rather than worry about getting into some silly law school. YOLO bro, treat yo self!
