I agree that they might be annoyed if I inform them after a decision is made.
Cannot get myself to write them an email on this though. Think NU is just gonna hate me for this!

This may be me being selfish but I think you should withdraw or asked to be considered with the regular admissions group. If you can't attend, you are potentially taking the spot of another AJD applicant that can and will attend. Be fair to the other applicants, send the email.

Also mildly curious.

Anyone know the 2 year JD for international lawyers program? How many applicants and acceptance last year?

I can't imagine that you'd get in ED if you applied with the same numbers as before. If you had the numbers to get ED in the first place, you probably would have gotten some scholly as an RD candidate anyway. Most likely they'd just defer you and admit you as an RD applicant.

"He/she already had a chance to enroll, but they didn't and now they're applying ED. It must be because of the scholarship"
So the merits of the re-app would depend entirely on whether they think you're worth the scholly and would remove the "NU is my first choice" boost that normal ED applicants would get.

Hey guys, been reading this forum for a while and just wanted to check in. I'm AJD applicant, one big reason was because they accept GMAT scores. I'm also 30 w/ 3 kids so I hope to get in and out of school as quickly as possible. I'm actually hoping to finish in 18 months (Dec. 2014), I have a buddy who increased his courseload after he had accepted a FT position and did this.

I think the ABA requires you to be in school for 24 months, so I don't think you can compress the workload any more than they have it compressed.

Also an AJD applicant - good luck!!

going to spend most of my day dealing with compliance spreadsheets-- and you thought I read files all day? I wish.

I hate to be THAT person, but how many updates before a decision? I started looking through past posts and then got bored/concerned that maybe I should get back to work.

I don't think the NU status checker works like that for most people. It's pretty random.

Let's hope they will send decisions our way next week! They noted that all ajd decisions are sent by 2/1
