I don't know. They released decisions this week last year, but Christmas and New Year's were also on the weekends. Can you check to see what his Twitter said last year?

Looks like over a dozen people received decisions on Dec. 29th of last year on LSN, which was the Thursday in between holiday weekends. While there's a good chance that the skeleton crew at the admissions office this year will be doing admin catch-up (since there's only three work days this week, and last year's decisions went out on the fourth day of the week), my unqualified optimistic analysis is that there is an equally good chance that something will go out this week, if last year is any indication. At least, I think there's enough of a chance for us to freak out about it.
...it's not like I was going to get any work done this week anyway.

I called today to ask about the Status Checker/ Decision Notification System in the event of an acceptance/waitlist/denial from the ED Held list, and they said they would email us with details and a link when they make their next decision. No more checking the NU status checker for me!

Are they asking ED-Hold applicants to come in and interview again???

I was talking with a friend of mine about the "take a year off and getting better w/e" strategy if I don't get in this year. Next year, Christmas and New Year's will be on Wednesdays, meaning it will probably be like this next year, too, except they won't be back into the office until THE THURSDAY AFTER NEW YEAR'S.

Lets hope we all get accepted THIS YEAR! Especially because this is my second cycle as it is. If NU puts me on Hold again, I'll end up flying to Chicago for my FOURTH interview with NU Law.

I'd fly to Chicago armed with my whole resume and every amazing macaroni project I ever made in kindergarten to show them how special I was!
