You have no evidence of this. There has been more than one poster that has been asked to defer to next year.ajax wrote:And they are taking many more now, brah.

You're saying different things. mrizza is talking about WE of at least 1 year (aka non K-JD applicants) and you're citing stats about WE of at least 2 years.ajax wrote:And they are taking many more now, brah.mrizza wrote: Its not new, they've always had 5-10% straight out of UG, and socrates has a 4.1
At least two years post-undergrad experience: 70% 2012 entering class, 83% 2011 entering class.
But you are right, brah. Always 5%-10%. LOL. Let's see if they even hit 50% for this year with applications off another 20%. Then we'll see who is full of BS, Northwestern, or me.

Please inform me of average age of entering 1ls 2012 vs 2011. I think you'll find a nice little gem.

This bores me. NW is taking younger, less-experienced applicants than in the past.

Still no word on the ED -> Held to RD applications? I'm anxiously anticipating!

So yesterday was bashing NU for not being worth sticker, and today we're bashing NU for (allegedly) easing up on the WE requirement?
I thought this would be a NU love thread.

Just to confirm, other ED --> Held to RD applicants are still seeing their status checker as when their original decision letter to be held was sent right?

It is for me, assume for others as well. I keep checking it occasionally when decisions drop just to see if it's been updated. Johann has tweeted that they'll email us when they update the letter.SGrant723 wrote:Just to confirm, other ED --> Held to RD applicants are still seeing their status checker as when their original decision letter to be held was sent right?

Same. It's frustrating to see the school sell-out to USNEWs at our expense. I was hoping for better.feralinfant wrote:i unfortunately am not.timeandspace11 wrote:Im glad NU is easing up on WEmrizza wrote:So yesterday was bashing NU for not being worth sticker, and today we're bashing NU for (allegedly) easing up on the WE requirement?

Re: Northwestern Law C/O 2016 (2012-2013 Applicants)
Now now everyone. I think they can ease up on work experience and still have plenty of seats to go around- they still want to bring kids in with WE even if they're wanting to also try and maintain medians. With applicants falling left and right, it'll be more about stemming the bleeding rather than being particularly choosy.
At least I hope. I'm >75th lsat, >2 years WE and <25 gpa, and hoping the 2/3 will be enough.

Wait, is everyone who got 24h today an admit?!
edit: and is the decision notification log-in your normal status checker info? How long does it usually take to become available? I have just so many questions.

I am not either. WE is the whole reason Northwestern is my top choice. I respect that.feralinfant wrote:i unfortunately am not.timeandspace11 wrote:Im glad NU is easing up on WEmrizza wrote:So yesterday was bashing NU for not being worth sticker, and today we're bashing NU for (allegedly) easing up on the WE requirement?

Hey fellow posters,

Hopefully we get more decisions today guys !!
