On the Northwestern Law website, the Notebook Program link requires a username and password, but no combination of mine is working. I'd like to get a jump start on the laptop search. Is anybody else having this problem?

Just get something reliable and portable that you like. If I remember correctly, the specs they list are the same across all the grad programs, and there's all sorts of shiny things listed as "required" that you definitely don't need just to type notes and take exams. I'd recommend 13 inch or so, because I started the year with my old clunky 17 inch and it was a bit of a pain on some of the smaller desks.

Hi all, I know I'm gonna sound like a d**k, but I've been away for a while and I'm really lazy to search the whole thread backwards. Is there a thread or discussion somewhere in here for finding housing/rooms or is that done exclusively on the official FB group page?
Cheers

There's some housing discussion scattered between the Northwestern 3Ls Taking Questions and Challenges and Northwestern Class of 2016 threads. Lots of us are just starting to look seriously for an apartment. From what I've read, most of us who aren't willing to pay the premium to live right by campus are looking at Lincoln Park and Lakeview.Danny Boyo wrote:Hi all, I know I'm gonna sound like a d**k, but I've been away for a while and I'm really lazy to search the whole thread backwards. Hey guys, I just got admitted! I'm excited, but with my new LSAT I'm hoping for scholarship money. Have WL students been getting money from NU? I'll be reading the thread now, but I figured I'd ask in case anyone had a quick answer.

I'm sure everyone got that email about the JumpStart program today. What does everyone think is better, JumpStart, the NU preview, or nothin' at all? At least these are free...
And based off the fact that it was sent from an NU address, does that mean it's hosted on our campus?
