Ya for sure makes attending slightly less scary, and I had the fear of god in me last night haha. No updates so there are probably some more trickling out.Scarlett66 wrote:It takes the edge off. Congrats on the award! I was certainly afraid for everyone that they were done last night.mrizza wrote:30k
Definitely better than nothing, will probably wind up attending.

It's alright. Go on without me. Just promise to sneak me an ipad or something in a cake so I can TLS from debtors prison.mrizza wrote:Ya I definitely will. 30k is definitely nice and I appreciate it, but its not enough to say my cycle is over by any stretch, so I'll be trying to get that offer that lets me withdraw everywhere else. Grats to everyone looks like as soon as feral gets his award we officially left no man behind!Micdiddy wrote:Awesome man, for sure better than nothing. And negotiations underway i presume? Congrats to everyone who has received a scholarship this past week and good luck to those still waiting!
I'm on the lower end of spectrum with $30k, planning to negotiate.

Dumb question, but you got the status update by e-mail or in the online status checker?

Held- median LSAT/below 25th GPA. Applied really late so surprised to even get an update, I thought I would just be pending indefinitely.

Sorry man. Holds seen so weird at this point. Till when will they hold you? Straight waitlist seems more appropriate. Though honestly I would rather have that hold, they're expecting withdrawals from ppl who didn't get enough $$ and then they'll get back to your app for sure.luxurylawyer wrote:Held. Bittersweet. Northwestern was one of my hail mary apps, and I haven't even read through this thread at all. My status also just changed to decision letter available in 24 hours. Do they send you log-in information for the decision letter site? 99.98% sure it's a ding, but still.

Held.
I've now been held by 5 of the 11 schools in the t14 that I applied to.

It's the same as your status checker log-in. The link to the decision letter site is at the top of the page.slawww wrote:Northwestern was one of my hail mary apps, and I haven't even read through this thread at all. I figured we were past the point of holds. It says they will begin reviewing in "early April," so I guess it will be a pretty quick turnaround. Keeping the hope alive for this one.Micdiddy wrote:

I'm sure diddy is right, they'll probably start reviewing on April 13luxurylawyer wrote:I figured we were past the point of holds. It says they will begin reviewing in "early April," so I guess it will be a pretty quick turnaround. Keeping the hope alive for this one.Micdiddy wrote:
