So just to confirm again - no held from ED applicants got any news about the JD program? Was this just AJD?

Just got my acceptance email! I applied RD, I'm not a URM, 1yr WE, 169/3.76, super stoked! And for those wondering about scholarship & aid you need to fill out the need access form and the FAFSA before you can be considered for scholarships, grants, or aid.

Have any other AJD applicants looked at the Need Access forms online? It looks like the only question we are required to answer is "Please describe any special circumstances". Is that correct??
I read that regular decision applicants had to write two essays - one assessing their need for aid, and one about merit or something?

The essays are through an application that NU will email you about sometime after acceptance, not NeedAccess (that's separate).fruitoftheloom wrote:Have any other AJD applicants looked at the Need Access forms online? ETA: AJDs do not do the essays!!!!! See: http://www.law.northwestern.edu/admissi ... ctions.pdf

Re: Northwestern Law C/O 2016 (2012-2013 Applicants)
I'm scanning through the 2010-11 and 2011-12 threads to get more AJD info but it's so lacking. Even in the designated thread from 2010-11 no one published their numbers so it doesn't help at all. Too bad.rinkrat19 wrote:The essays are through an application that NU will email you about sometime after acceptance, not NeedAccess (that's separate).fruitoftheloom wrote:Have any other AJD applicants looked at the Need Access forms online? I meant info on stats of admitted AJDs to try and see what numbers they took in the past.rinkrat19 wrote:There is, however, quite a bit of information on the website.JayJones78 wrote:I'm scanning through the 2010-11 and 2011-12 threads to get more AJD info but it's so lacking. What I'm wondering most is how many applications the prog got this year. Last year they had 100.

Good for you! It's great to see when schools look beyong numbers. Especially because I am praying NU will look past mine for the AJDNikitaLasagna wrote:mrizza wrote:Did you mean to type 171? Grats either way, just looking to clarify.NikitaLasagna wrote: lsat 161

Re: Northwestern Law C/O 2016 (2012-2013 Applicants)
Had my interview today on-campus. Questions were mostly straight off the sample questions sheet. Only non sample sheet questions were " Why not take a couple years and work?" and "What would you like to tell us about yourself that we haven't yet learned from your application or this interview?"
Felt like a home run, so it was probably a triple. Now I just have to write my LOCI and hope to every possible deity that my app goes from hold to accept.

Right there with you. I cannot see a situation where I get accepted and not attend. Everything just fits. The WE, the school, the location, the summer start. It just works for me. I loved the school when I interviewed and I really do think that if they look past my LSAT (since my GPA is in the AJD median as far as I saw) i really am a great fit for that program. I also wrote a why NU AJD that I hope they liked...
