+1, but January so not as bad. I think you should be pleased you weren't outright rejected. They are probably trying to figure out which median they need to boost the most. I'm really only hoping to get in so I could use it to boost scholarships at other schools, there's no way I'm paying sticker anyway and I feel like anyone still waiting will be asked to pay sticker or close to sticker.bettercallsaul91 wrote:In the same boat as you :/b123 wrote:Uh...still sitting on complete since late november. what should i be thinking?

Will UCLA definitely email you if you're rejected? Probably a stupid question but there it is.

I'm sitting on a 1/14 complete date too, still no word.
Just a note, I finally got a chance to visit UCLA over spring break (after a 400 mile spur-of-the-moment road trip from Las Vegas), and it is incredible. The campus is beautiful, the law building and classrooms are well-equipped, and the people at admissions were really helpful. I talked to a few of the law students in the quad, everyone was really nice and eager to answer my questions. I have a few pics from campus if anyone would like.

The fact that very few people have been getting in the last few weeks is scaring me. I went complete on 2/5 and have had silence since then. 171 / 3.57 ... Damn you UCLA and your lack of status checker!

So I'm looking at this thread wondering if this cycle will ever end .... when my phone starts ringing ... 310 area code ... IN!!!!!! 30k/yr merit scholly. Dean said a package is on its way in the mail.
This happened just about a minute ago, wanted to post the news (finally some movement!) and I hope this gives everyone hope that good news is coming soon! 174/3.2 submitted late Jan.
Moral of the story, when you look at a thread you get an acceptance call. (Going over to the Stanford thread now ...)

Re: UCLA c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
I got a call from a 310 area code. I did not pick up because I did not want to be disappointed with some telemarketer, blood bank, or other form of spam. If it was actually the school and something important they will leave a voicemail right?
Edit: I am disappointed it was some guy from pepperdine calling to ask where they are on my options and wanting to fly me out .

Well...While I understand being disappointed....If they are going to pay for you to visit Pepperdine, you should take them up on that.Dmini7 wrote:I got a call from a 310 area code. A lot of schools don't leave voicemails. I'd pick up next time hahaDmini7 wrote:I got a call from a 310 area code. Would anyone that's had success negotiating scholarships with UCLA be willing to look over the letter I just drafted?

No worries, it was expected. Weird that I'm the only one reporting it. I also found it odd that it came directly from Schwartz instead of a general email address.dproduct wrote:Sorry.teiswei wrote:Ding via email.
