Does anyone have information about the optional Programmatic Contribution essay? Is it UCLA's way of essentially asking for a "Why UCLA" essay? Would it look bad to just attached a "Why UCLA" addendum instead? Is there benefit to writing both?

was wondering about the same thing. I think I'll do both, since the contribution question only allows a 999 character answer. Interested to hear what others are thinking!

I believe it is under the "forms" section (tab at the top) in the electronic application.
