So much money at Berkeley (one of the more solid t14s especially if you want to work in Cali!) and you're still gona reapply? Totally your call but I know a lot of people that would kill to be in your shoes haha.

FWIW, the waitlist letter (I got mine today) says that they are no longer admitting students, and that they are now only offering waitlist spots. Could be generic copy (and this seems slightly at odds with what others have reported from phone convos with the admissions office), but that's what it says. : /

LOL just lol. No spots left and still being PAINSTAKINGLY slow.

...Is the decision between waitlist and rejection that big? It takes almost no commitment (other than maybe to ethical code about not leading people on) to waitlist, right? Let's get on with it.

i just woke up from a crazy dream. Stanford called me and they were like this is stanford law school can we please speak to porch. "this is him"
so i got all excited and then
"why on EARTH did you apply here, did you really think youd get in?"
well no but idk it was worth a shot
"we were just waiting for you to withdraw from us before we had to deny your sucka ass"
and then i got into a fist fight with a skydiving polar bear and woke up.

so essentially im going to nyu.

although id pick stanford over nyu...at sticker (eh hem adcomms)

+1

I'm going to laugh for five minutes straight if I get straight-out rejected. It shouldn't take this much agony to tell me that.
