In reading Dean Deal's blog posts, I've noticed two things:
1) She has an awesome sense of humor
2) She seems like a genuinely kind person

With #2 in mind, I expect her to make at least a few calls before Christmas as it would obviously make someone's holiday break that much merrier. It seems like she would really enjoy doing that; so, here's to hoping for some Palo Alto lovin' coming somebody's way soon!

I agree with this. Plus, and I think I metioned this earlier, they're pretty good about updating the blog, so I imagine we'll see an update soon regarding decisions.

I feel like posts NOT relating to offers going out should be accompanied by an apology to those of us who subscribe to this thread and check it a little too often.

PS - I'm sorry.

My status checker hasn't worked in about a month.. I emailed Stanford to let them know, and they just said my application was complete and under review. Still doesn't accept my login info or let me change my password.

For whatever reason, whenever I go through the SLS website to check my status it doesn't work, but when I click the link in the e-mail they sent me I can access it. Maybe try that?

Nothing before Christmas? Seems weird, Stanford. There must be a massive wave of acceptances coming in January.

Agreed. According to a blog post from last year (http://blogs.law.stanford.edu/admission ... -etcetera/) there were some acceptances btwn Christmas and January, so we'll see. But then again in previous years people got accepted before Christmas and that hasn't happened this year. I hope someone will get accepted before January, or that at least Dean Deal will update her blog and let us know when we should expect acceptances.

Watch ou you can throw your back out walking like that!

On the acceptance deal, i think 1. Less total numbers of applicants 2. Hurricane Sandy put some of the top schools on the east coast behind a week or two from normal. Sympathetic waiting. 3. The number of high scores were down from previous cycles. 4. If the want to keep medians up they will have to increase $ to applicants or lower standards (medians).

stanford doesn't have to play by those rules. Harvard does.

H doesn't give out merit aid either, but I agree H both has a harder time keeping up medians (due to large class size) and seems to be more numbers-focused than S.

Pretty much the same here, mine just never worked at all.

So... maybe we haven't heard anything because Stanford is too busy dealing with status checkers-problems related emails? ;)

I will try to keep updating this once a week. (Kudos to LSATSCORES2012 for creating a program that zips through LSN and pulls data that would otherwise have been very time consuming to gather.)
