Very nice, sir. At this point, there is a better than slim chance that we'll be classmates.robot_socrates wrote:It isMacB wrote:Is it Hyde park for you, Mr. Socrates?robot_socrates wrote:I also just withdrew. Good luck to the rest of you.

Yeah... you'd think this long wait means we're still under consideration, but LSN paints a different picture. A lot of applicants who went complete in Sept-Oct received rejections in late April. That's so sad.Anonymous4444 wrote:if enough withdraw maybe stanford will stop ignoring us

Sounds good! Also, I'm from Chicago, so feel free to pm if you have any Q's about the city.MacB wrote:Very nice, sir. But anyways, since this is the Stanford thread, I think I'll show myself out here

Hahaha, I thought about withdrawing for a minute so that my cycle could be over, but then I realized--I paid them $100 to look at my application!! I at least want a decision for that!

The only solace I can take is that no one with my exact numbers has been rejected yet.

Anyone know or would like to estimate about how many of the almost 200 seats are already filled? I'm guessing more than half..

Seriously though, 54 admitted on LSN so I'm thinking that there aren't very many spots open for admits. No idea on how many have deposits

Take into account that while SLS's 1st year class is ~180, they admit close to 380.Aawaldrop wrote:199WalkingPlato wrote:Anyone know or would like to estimate about how many of the almost 200 seats are already filled? I'm guessing more than half..

I was, considering that LSN only represents a portion of admits (I'm not sure what %, possibly different for HYS vs others idk). If LSN is around 25% (made up number) then they admitted maybe 210 so far, a pretty large amount. I've seen lower percentages thrown around so that number could be higher.HankBashir wrote:Take into account that while SLS's 1st year class is ~180, they admit close to 380.Aawaldrop wrote:199WalkingPlato wrote:Anyone know or would like to estimate about how many of the almost 200 seats are already filled? When sending in a LOCI, would it be appropriate to address the email to Dean Deal, or simply "Office of Admissions" or "Admissions Committee"?

I'd say to Dean Deal. Always to a person. And she's THE person.

I might say, "Faculty Admissions Committee" actually ... it is composed of people, so does that count?iteachtenthgrade wrote:Ew, definitely NOT "To Whom..."WhiteyCakes wrote:To Whom it May Concernkatch wrote:When sending in a LOCI, would it be appropriate to address the email to Dean Deal, or simply "Office of Admissions" or "Admissions Committee"?

any chance acceptances will roll out this week? I fear the silence... makes me think DLS are coming out at the end of the week.
Btw, is there a SLS fb page?
