Well, we have two people reporting primary email changes + lowercase. I don't think calls are coming out today, so we'll all wait and see what happens on Monday.carboncopyx wrote:Ohh, that's weird--my secondary has always been lowercase. But I think the primary e-mail changing should be a good sign. Hope this means you'll be getting a call soon!statslaw wrote:Yes, both were in all caps before. Both changed to lower case this morning.

Mine just went lowercase, too, like within the last 30 minutes. Given my stats, maybe we're seeing the waitlist being prepped...

Then I think it's possible that you'll be admitted. But it's weird because SLS hasn't accepted this many applicants at once. We have three in this thread? So what does that mean for the overall pool?bluecouch wrote:PhD + policy work experience, so I suppose so.ssanonymous wrote:do you have strong softs?bluecouch wrote:Mine just went lowercase, too, like within the last 30 minutes. Cool, I'd say you're in. Looking at last year's data, there's a wave of admits in the second week of April, followed by dings and waitlists.bluecouch wrote:PhD + policy work experience, so I suppose so.ssanonymous wrote:do you have strong softs?bluecouch wrote:Mine just went lowercase, too, like within the last 30 minutes. I'm a non-traditional student with some strong softs and significant work experience. My degree GPA is above a 3.90 over four years and I have what some call a socioeconomic disadvantage. I am not what would be considered a URM though.
Monday is a long wait away. I'll let everyone know what I find out. Thanks for all the feedback.
Also, I did submit updates to LSAC. PM me for details.

Gratz everyone, although some intricacies within the email switch seem unique from past instances, the timing is historically in your favor. Monday should be exciting.
I wish Stanford would publish a book on how to get into their LS. This is the only school I'd consider taking a year off for but I just don't know what to do to help my chances

Status checker keeps saying "login error" for SLS. I think SLS status checker detects bots.

Eh, that's not fair. Everyone has their own set of goals, so it's natural to feel disappointed if one does not reach those goals. You've gotten into a fair amount of schools, but it seems like you're still hoping for SLS.helix23 wrote:hard knock lifeanthony1027 wrote:Mentally preparing myself for the fact that I might just be stuck with the NYU vs. Berkeley decision
Anthony, I hope things work out for you. If you're really not happy about the decision in front of you (which is great!), you can always take a year off. Cheers!

Re: Stanford C/O 2016 Applicants Thread
Im definitely considering it. I know it's only my LSAT holding me back but damn I studied my ass off for that thing (to broke for a course) Any recommendations on study tips or courses? Im currently sitting on a 163. Which from what I've seen historically with SLS admissions pretty much makes it one of the biggest long shots ever.ssanonymous wrote:Eh, that's not fair.
