sigh. had a dream last night that dean deal called me with the good news.

early november complete here. but i'm not reading too much into not being DLS yet. seems like the DLS waves are loosely based on complete date, no? so it's not like with each successive DLS wave, they keep thinking about DLSing us earlier completes but then don't. it seems to me like it's more that i survived the DLS wave that most closely followed my complete date, and have since waited in a holding pen until we will all eventually be cast upon each other in one mega DLS wave and have to fight tooth and nail for a handful of acceptances.

So I withdrew from Stanford on Monday but haven't heard anything back yet, and my application status is still active. I haven't seen word that there's an official process for withdrawing. I just sent an email.
