Yeah I'm thinking a Baylor offer wouldnt really do much, since they seem to throw ton of money at pretty much everyone and no way Texas considers them a peer. Is there evidence people have been able to use SMU/Houston offers to negotiate? Maybe if you could make the argument that it makes more sense for you to stay in Houston/Dallas due to family or something could make them throw some more $.

I dont have any evidence but it certainly wouldnt hurt to try. I doubt they would ever match their offers but maybe they would throw a few extra grand a year at you.

Omg the green dots are so ridiculously close to my numbers but they still haven't called. I was really hoping for that phone call today! I'm going to go visit next Friday to remind them that I exist.

Edit: UT is being weirdly friendly to splitters this year and it is leading me on

If UT called me - I'd pay my deposit on the spot! This waiting is so painful...

Maybe they can't figure out your GPA.

Just kidding, good luck. I think we have similar numbers.

I would pay sticker so fast. Not that would give me money if they admitted me anyway.

Haha, okay. I assume it'll take longer to get to NYC.

I wonder what time they usually call people. From what people have posted, it seems like it is late morning. I would let it go to voice mail anyway because crying like a basket case out of happiness is probably not the best first impression.
