Amazing!! That gives me hope! I thought my GPA might not be high enough, but I should hopefully be looking at some scholarship $!

I was placed on hold, which as they explained is neither a deny, accept, or deferral. Anyone have any more info about what I should expect? Thanks

To anyone being held, when did you go complete in comparison with when you got held?

What exactly is the difference between being held vs. being deferred. Are they even doing a waitlist yet?

To my understanding, being held is basically being waitlisted. They explain that a deferral is when you are accepted for a later day (ie Class of 2017).

No not really... Held almost certainly means that you are borderline and they are not sure yet.

So, is being held just a shorter-term, less permanent waitlisting?

I suppose you could look at it like that, but being waitlisted is a far worse outcome than being held.

My call was at 5pm Eastern. The guy asked if I've been to Austin, I said no but I've been to Houston, he said that's nice but Austin is way better.

Does the status checker ever change or does it just stop at "Complete"? It isn't the standard status checker so I'm curious if there is an "In Review" option or not.

I feel like everybody else who applied around the time I did (10/31 with complete 11/9) is hearing back! Frustrating! I'm 80% sure that I'm an auto-reject and I just want to get the rejection and the suspense over with!
