Based on the graph on p.1, the initial waitlist wave corresponded with a slightly larger wave of dings and JS2s. Immediately after that there was a substantial, virtually unaccompanied WL wave. So there's probably still a grab-bag of decisions out there...
Unless they start the waitlist early (ie move everyone to it in the next week) I would expect a final large wave of dings to cull the Helds. Probably happen right before the big WL wave.
Some hope for those of us still standing: last years Held had 150+ and this years had 85. About 20 dings so the pool of applicants still in the running might have a better than normal chance of getting in.
I personally set my sights on HYS and I'm already out at YS. If this whole H thing doesn't pan out, my dad says I can help out with the family business. With Gus out of the picture I'll be making more bank than even you BigLaw fools slaving away 70 hours a week! M-m-muahahah!
