Thanks for the support. I sent a stellar update letter late Wednesday, so they'll get that Mondayish.
And then never talk to me again. Please no.
I really don't understand why they would hold anyone with my numbers pre-JS1 though. If there was something iffy in my app, wouldn't that warrant an interview?

Meeting with the committee to determine if today gets bloodbath status.
Much more severe than recent weeks.

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
That's what I'm wondering. Other AA males with my numbers and my approximate submit/complete dates have already gotten interviews. I have an unusual academic/medical history that might give HLS some worry about my ability to cope in law school, but I would at least think I'd get an interview to get a chance to explain.TripTrip wrote: If there was something iffy in my app, wouldn't that warrant an interview?

Still doesn't match Berkeley's bloodbath a few weeks ago.wert3813 wrote:Meeting with the committee to determine if today gets bloodbath status.

The way Boalt does admissions lends itself to bloodbaths a little more easily.TripTrip wrote:Still doesn't match Berkeley's bloodbath a few weeks ago.wert3813 wrote:Meeting with the committee to determine if today gets bloodbath status.

Maybe more dogs will help speed up the JS2s. Is the bloodbath(?) over yet?

No. Not sure to make of any of it though. I won't even mention how long it's been since my JS1. I'll take the silence as a good sign, but it's pretty disconcerting at this point. One of my mentor's has a nephew that got in, literally, as they prepared to move to NY for NYU - so there will be movement on the hold front. Still, I wish I knew something one way or another. (Though looking at how it's been going maybe not knowing anything is as good as it gets today.)wert3813 wrote:D330...You still not held?

You have to know I've checked my spam folder, my trash, my status checker on HLS, my psychic, the stars, my horoscope, and read my own palm. Patience is a virtue though, and ain't no waiting like waiting on HLS.wert3813 wrote:Check your spam folder bro...d330 wrote:No. Not sure to make of any of it though. Way to see the glass half full. You've survived another day, and I bet your JS2 is right around the corner.d330 wrote:No. Not sure to make of any of it though.
