Mine was Wednesday (and I prepped with her questions based on the same claim).

Things like, "tell me about your job" and "what about your job has informed your law school choice?" She mentioned explicit items from my personal statement as well. So while these aren't as personalized as JS's questions, she's obviously done thorough homework on your application and you should know these answers.

I'm saying this not to make anyone nervous, but because my heart sunk when I saw her face on Skype and I freaked thinking she'd lead with a "what are your weaknesses?" type question. And it's not that. My unfounded panic was the main reason I don't feel great about my interivew. So if you have KB, she is perfectly lovely and you'll do best to relax. I wish I had.

Good luck everyone with their interviews today!

Very true, she does tailor the wording of her questions and really does read through your PS, so while the questions are the same, they are personalized. And yeah, I didn't get any business-y type 'What's your greatest challenge?' things (tho I had answers prepared). It was overall a very pleasant experience.

Fair enough. She has read your application - however, the meat of her questions will not change. Its basically interview madlibs

Of course, you could spin this to your advantage. If you have stories to tell that aren't already a part of your application, you're more likely to find opportunities to bring them up when asked more general questions.

Indubitably! Although not all people have as many cool stories to tell as you vz

Did people have time/opportunity to do this? I had a lot on my plate answering the questions she had (both numbers well below the medians) and the interview was over before I knew it. I think my interview was different to many others' experiences, though.

Wake me up when JS2s come out. Better yet, I'll wake up when HLS hits up my cell. Good day folks, and good luck with the JS1s. I'll see how it went when I'm summoned by my cell.

Definitely not... While her questions were open-ended, I could only say so much (and didn't have time to introduce stories, that's for sure) before time was up! It really does fly by.

Theory: Since it appears that no one who has had KB as an interviewer in Feb. has been admitted, perhaps KB likes to accumulate a large group of interviews to evaluate all together. It appears that JS is more inclined to chip away at the JS1s as she finishes them.

Full disclosure: I had KB and this is my way of convincing myself that a big KB admit pool will be coming soon.

I love how almost everyone who writes about KB's interviews is really just diplomatically saying that she is impatient and unpleasant.

This is definitely true.

This is not true at all. She is a very nice and pleasant person. She seems genuinely interested in who you are and in answering your questions... she just asks questions that are formulaic and expects you to take the answer wherever you feel that it should go. In a way, its better than JS's because you are in the drivers seat. In another way, she won't directly ask you about any low point in your application like JS would, so you have to know where it is yourself.

She takes longer though, which is a diplomatic way of saying hurry the F up.

Anyone have a low LSAT score that JS grilled them on? I retook, and got asked about my first score which was very low. What does one say? “I was an idiot to take it in the first place… sorry sorry sorry!!!”

They started around 5:00 last week or the week before. That said I don't think today is the day. I hope I'm wrong.

Not me, but on the subject of interviews, I was a tad taken aback by the direction of questioning in my interview. I had in mind clear weaknesses in my app, and my interviewer didn't ask anything about them. Instead, she asked me a non-weakness-related question that I just didn't think would come up, so I fumbled through it. (Edit: I'll add that the vast majority of her questions made sense and fit my app well.)

I remember it being around 2-3 pm PST when JS2s were going out, so I think JS2 time is between 5-6 EST.

My distraction of choice.
My favorite is when I get them all bouncing so high that none are on the screen.
