I would. I wore a full dress suit, it put me in the zone for the interview.Jpreece59 wrote:JS1 today. Question, is it necessary to wear pants during the interview?
We discussed this in the Chicago thread.Jpreece59 wrote:JS1 today. Question, is it necessary to wear pants during the interview?

Andifwhen that day comes, I really hope you say yes. I'd enjoy being in school with you.

I do hope I can join you in Cambridge as well, HLS has been my top choice since day one, but thankfully I have been able to get into some other amazing schools and will be fine in the long run
on a lighter note, OMG congrats js1ers!!! who said friday was reserved for blood? lol.
so incredibly glad to see trustinmusic, wert, etc. have their big day finally come. Time to zone in, kill it and wrap this cycle up!
man i wish i had gotten her instead of kb, honestly. but oh wellsquare_peg wrote:So, I just had my interview with JS today. As others here have said before, she's super nice and easy to talk to. I was a nervous wreck throughout, and I think JS could tell, but she does a great job of putting you at ease. Because she asks such individual-specific questions about personal statements and resumes, the only way to prepare is to know your application, interests, and passions backwards and forwards and tie those into your desire for a legal career. It was really refreshing to be asked about myself and my experiences and be able to answer really honestly, rather than dealing with BS questions like "What is your greatest weakness?" and "What three words would your coworkers use to describe you?" I didn't have to rattle off any pointless stories about how I saved the world by raising $5000 for cancer as part of some anonymous club--I actually got to talk about myself and my interest in law. Also, I'm K-JD and I wasn't asked "Why now?" or anything. But I was asked "Why Harvard?" and it seems a few others were too, so future interviewees, be prepared for that one.
And now the waiting game begins...
Also, hang in there, holds!
Me too, but I'm not sweating it. Had my interview earlier this week, and I don't think you should worry until a month after the interview at the earliestbosmer88 wrote:I missed the hold wave. I had a JS1, but have silence. How many others are stuck in limbo?
That's a good attitude to have! I am glad I am not the only one.vzapana wrote:Me too, but I'm not sweating it. Welcome to the club... this part is actually probably the worst. Sigh.amonthofsundays wrote:I just had a KB1 today and everything went pretty well and she was very nice. I just have to resist the urge to reflect and second guess myself about things I should/shouldn't have said.
I hear you. I feel pretty comfortable with all my answers except one that I thought I could have answered better. Nothing I can do now besides drink and wait. Ugh.carboncopyx wrote:Welcome to the club... this part is actually probably the worst. Sigh.amonthofsundays wrote:I just had a KB1 today and everything went pretty well and she was very nice. After watching the holds come down, I'm more convinced that the only thing to fear with the interview is a complete fail. I'm not even sure a complete success can be measured. And am positive a JS2 can come from terrible interviews and great interviews.andreskicdo wrote:I hear you.
