I've been writing a LOCI for just this occasion. Would a snap response be too much?

probably too soon . If you have any important/significant updates or LORs though, sending one out in the near future would probably be cool. I'll let other people chime in.

Is the bloodbath going to be light on TLS this time? Only two holds and no dings so far. Holds can still be JS2s!

Do non-JS1 holds still have to have a JS1 to be admitted, or do the lucky few who get in off hold go straight to JS2?

I think we've talked about this before, and the conclusion was that you need a JS1 regardless of the timing: hold, WL, etc.

So, I just had my interview with JS today. As others here have said before, she's super nice and easy to talk to. I was a nervous wreck throughout, and I think JS could tell, but she does a great job of putting you at ease. Because she asks such individual-specific questions about personal statements and resumes, the only way to prepare is to know your application, interests, and passions backwards and forwards and tie those into your desire for a legal career. It was really refreshing to be asked about myself and my experiences and be able to answer really honestly, rather than dealing with BS questions like "What is your greatest weakness?" and "What three words would your coworkers use to describe you?" I didn't have to rattle off any pointless stories about how I saved the world by raising $5000 for cancer as part of some anonymous club--I actually got to talk about myself and my interest in law. Also, I'm K-JD and I wasn't asked "Why now?" or anything. But I was asked "Why Harvard?" and it seems a few others were too, so future interviewees, be prepared for that one.

And now the waiting game begins...

Also, hang in there, holds!

I hear that. It's a youtube of a certain Bjork song. After that small "wave" of holds, it got very quiet all of a sudden. It makes me nervous.

Same complete date and held. To clarify, this is a pre-interview hold :( :(

Surprised to not be dinged outright.
