Mine said JS but it was KB.

How many more people need to confirm this before we call it a trend and start telling people they will get the opposite of what the calendar entry says?

(but maybe TLS is making me too desperate to find patterns)

Yep- on my calendar entry I had JS listed, but ended up with KB as well.

Combing through LSN, there is a precedent for 2-day turnarounds between JS/KB1 and 2. They seemed to fall later in the cycle, but the precedent exists nonetheless.

I am completely incapable of focusing and unmotivated to do anything but watch the water boil. Fingers crossed for some 617 phone calls in next 24 hours ... and while we're at it, some more JS1 love for the homies.

"Inspired" is not how I would describe my current state of mind.

Worked myself into a tizzy before the interview for nothing. I was scheduled with JS and actually got her, and she was so sweet and easy to talk to.
Now I have no excuse to keep delaying the paper I'm supposed to be writing, so I'm off to do that and pretend not to think about any potential JS2s.

My experience exactly- I just finished with KB and she was very easy going and fun to talk to. So glad to have one less thing to worry about (and one more...)

http://lawschoolnumbers.com/medialoop
http://lawschoolnumbers.com/hetfocus

Both these people got their KB1 e-mails on 11/29, the same date the last batch for us went out. One of them interviewed on 12/5, the other unspecified, and both got KB2 on 12/8!!

Although there were a bunch of others that got the 11/29 e-mail, interviewed around 12/6 or so, and got their KB2 on 12/14.

Still, that looks like maybe some tomorrow, and some next friday could be possible?

At this time as I move toward awaiting a JS/KB2, I would like to formally release the positive JS/KB1 vibes I was fortunate enough to receive and pass them on to Helix, Anonymous, Tyler, and others still awaiting the interview email.

(pause)

It is done.

I don't remember if this has been discussed, but what is TCR for a follow-up thank you?
I was thinking about going the snail mail card route.

There are varying opinions here. These interviews are different than job interviews, so the expectation is not there. At the same time, it is a nice gesture.

The minority (at least on TLS) will send a thank-you, while the majority will not. Overall, it most likely has no effect whatsoever on an applicant's outcome.

I followed my impulse and sent a brief note via email. I waited until toward the end of the business day, just to avoid being any sort of nuisance during a busy day of interviews for JS. I'm skeptical that a gesture like this could ever have any impact, but it's consistent with what I always do when someone makes time to interact with me. I'm sure it went promptly in the round file.

Indeed. I addressed it "Dear Dean Soban,"
