Wise words from a wise man.

I might just add a comment about several of the questions we've seen today. Whatever your numbers are there are people with equivalent numbers who have been waiting for weeks without a JS1. I understand that the point of this thread is to voice your worries. But you should also try to be fair to those who have been waiting a long time. It definitely does not help their nerves when someone who just went complete asks whether he/she should be concerned about not having a JS1.

+1 for Yoda haha.

I say I'm not on edge because I HLS is a major reach for me so I'm not expecting a JS1 at all; I don't mean to offend anyone waiting longer than me. I know I haven't waited long at all and I don't expect these things to happen very quickly. I was just out of the loop on the timeline and wanted to know if I should keep my phone off of silent for awhile :P

Congrats to all of those who received JS1! This is getting more depressing by the hour as I've been completed since oct. 8th. :(

For early applicants (Sept-Oct) that will be either rejected or held, do you think we will know before Christmas or only in January?

Looks like mid-December or early January for the start of rejections:

EDIT: On further review, it appears last year rejections didn't begin until Jan 1: http://i.imgur.com/CMYhm.jpg

How long did it take HSL to confirm your js1 time? Yesterday I selected a time for next Tuesday and haven't heard anything back.

I haven't seen an e-mail yet, but the status checker e-mail section says that my interview is scheduled. Maybe I'll follow up Monday morning if I haven't heard back by then.

It took about a day for me, but that was with only one day total of interviews and not a couple weeks.

I think that there's a good shot that some (hopefully all!) Tuesday interviewees will get JS2s early next week. Two years ago--that was the case, and JS said somewhere that this cycle would, in timing, resemble two years ago.

I'm hoping and anticipating that JS2 calls will go out on Monday for those of us who interviewed earlier this week. To me it makes sense that they would make decisions on us before the newest JS1s start their interviews.

Good luck to everyone!

Conference room booked for next week, so here's hoping they confirm between now and then.

Long time follower here, just wanted to ask: somebody a few pages back said there’s another set of interview slots available for the week after next. Is that confirmed? (Still holding out hope for a JS1 in December.)

Yes, there are slots available for every day, monday through friday, of that week.

Was literally typing to ask whether y'all were morning or afternoon JS1s to see if the afternoon folks would still wait a while when I got mine.

It seems like I'm interviewing with KB. Can anyone who had their interview with her give me advice or guidance? Preferably someone who is K-JD, but anyone else's input is helpful too. You can also PM me if you don't want to speak on the thread.

How do you know who your interviewer is? My e-mail doesn't mention.

How do you know it's with KB?

ALSO! For those still awaiting a JS1, not only is the week of 12/10 full of interview slots M-F, but the following week has slots open on M,T, and TH.

In other words . . . keep the hope alive!

Lastly, for those with JS1s, I'm sure we are all wondering when JS2s will roll out. I thought it would be the week of 12/17, but if they are doing more JS1s that week, and they are busy the week of 12/10 as well; it's hard to know when they will slip them in. Thoughts?

Thanks for this update. I'm already losing hope (submitted 11/1) but I'm below both medians so the real problem is that I had any hope in the first place. Hoping they start to get some of the less auto-admit-ish types.
