Does anyone get held before getting a JS1? Or does everyone who gets held get it after their interview?

As of now, I'm also a non-JS1, non-hold. Complete 12/13. With what I've been seeing, I'm just waiting for the bad news.broadstreet11 wrote:Sorry to hear. I guess they are rolling emails. Just got the hold email. I thought for sure I was in for a rejection email with all of these great LSAT scores being held, so this is actually kind of a relief.

I guess considering my GPA I should be glad I got a JS1 and wasn't outright dinged. Whatever, I'll take it.Trogdorburninator wrote:Just got the hold email. I thought for sure I was in for a rejection email with all of these great LSAT scores being held, so this is actually kind of a relief.

Best as I can tell LSATPrepGuy is the person with the best numbers (3.99; 172) to get a hold pre JS1. Anyone have better or see someone with better?

Just another hurdle until your eventual JS2 guys!
I think we've already established this cycle will more than likely have an exorbitant amount of movement from holds/waitlists once they start realizing how their matriculating class is going to be effected by the number of applicants.

oh no. a 172/4 october applicant held. it is hopeless now for a 171/4 january applicant.trombalontana wrote:Held.
does hold eventually turn into waitlist and then reject for the vast majority?

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
this also is a travesty. H is being way more picky this cycle than expected. its clear they are not going to let those medians slip further and will take the hit in enrollment if necessary. i bet they want that 2 spot from stanford hard. definately staying at 173, minimum. have enough $ in enrollment.wert3813 wrote:Best as I can tell LSATPrepGuy is the person with the best numbers (3.99; 172) to get a hold pre JS1.
