Softs kind of weak, so that's probably what got me.
JS1 was on 2/15.
Thanks for all your help and advice! Best of luck to everyone!
But don't give up hope everyone! I was kind of bummed about getting dinged by HLS, especially since I'm a red dot in a sea of green on LSN. Didn't even get waitlisted. Then, last night, I got a call from New Haven ... You really can't predict how these things will turn out.

I was looking through last year's thread and saw that there was a wave of JS1s around this time last year with mostly January completes so I'm not giving up hope...yet.
Also weirdly I saw that JS2s started happening on the weekend so I guess no day can really be anxiety free anymore.

I'm a January complete and refuse to have my JS1 hopes dashed by logic and precedent.

This weekend has felt extraordinarily long. I want it to be Monday already and I'd love to know where I stand Harvard. If you reject me, I can get my pity party with haagen-dazs's butter pecan started and get closure. If you accept me, I will love you forever.

I've admittedly been using T14 acceptances and rejections as excuses to celebrate and have pity parties... either way, I've been living it up. Nothing like taking full advantage of a law school admission cycle.bosmer88 wrote:This weekend has felt extraordinarily long. Yup. Mine's this week. I'm rather nervous about it and I can't wait until it's over, honestly.

Rando question, but what do you guys think is the best way to address JS/KB in the interview? I'd lean to just calling them Jessica/Karen (JS is an "assistant dean," so I don't think you can call her "Dean Soban"). Just wondering if anyone went for something more formal than first names.

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
I didn't ever say her name, but I would call her Dean Soban. It's sort of like calling all professors "Dr." even if they're still grad students to me. Just a sign of respect.Ezooo0 wrote:Rando question, but what do you guys think is the best way to address JS/KB in the interview?
