Thanks! You'll probably get your score before we start to hear back though. It looks like Harvard updated its FAQ page last week (now quoted in the OP) to explicitly say that no application will even be "considered" until early November. Since there should be a lag between reading an app and setting up a JS1 and then another lag between JS1 and JS2, I don't know if that means we'll still get the usual first acceptances in early November or if they're deliberately slowing down the process and we won't see acceptances until mid-to-late November. (And since I don't have auto-admit numbers, I imagine they'd want to wait and see the rest of the applicant pool before judging my app.)

At any rate, good luck with the LSAT!

You may not be considered for the very first batch of JS1s, but for ultimately gaining admission, virtually no disadvantage whatsoever.

I had applied last year but was rejected. However, even if my numbers are a bit low for HLS (especially the LSAT), I think I have a best shot because I am applying early in the cycle rather than in mid-January like last year (I had a really huge technical problem with LSAC and my transcripts... long story). I'm holding off until I finish my diversity statement, but I hope to submit soon. I didn't write a DS for any of the other schools, but for HYS, I think it's worth the effort. It's a hail mary anyway, but I figure it's worth a shot!
