Had a dream I would be offered admission provided I filled out a secondary, more complete application.

Checking in.

Oh wow, that was fast. Good luck! I still have to take the October LSAT before I can submit. Hope you hear some good news by then!

Thanks! You'll probably get your score before we start to hear back though. It looks like Harvard updated its FAQ page last week (now quoted in the OP) to explicitly say that no application will even be "considered" until early November. Since there should be a lag between reading an app and setting up a JS1 and then another lag between JS1 and JS2, I don't know if that means we'll still get the usual first acceptances in early November or if they're deliberately slowing down the process and we won't see acceptances until mid-to-late November. (And since I don't have auto-admit numbers, I imagine they'd want to wait and see the rest of the applicant pool before judging my app.)

At any rate, good luck with the LSAT!

Just submitted my app. Hope we don't have to wait longer than usual, I'm getting anxious already!

Checking in. Haven't sent my application yet (waiting on a delinquent LOR) but will be sending it as soon as that letter hits my LSAC account. Good luck to all!

Easily the least-convenient need-based fee waiver process

checking in as well -- I feel like I am very late to the party. I was told I shouldn't worry about getting it in before November, so my letters are only going to come by October 15th :(

Hoping this doesn't put me at tooooo much of a disadvantage..

Thoughts?

:?

You may not be considered for the very first batch of JS1s, but for ultimately gaining admission, virtually no disadvantage whatsoever.

App received / status checker email today. I wish I had taken a few more easy classes in college, or at least worked a little harder. Nothing to do now but wait.

Status checker received today. I logged in and noticed something different about HLS; the "Requirements" section is empty. The other schools I applied to have a list with boxes next to it.

Anyone else notice that?

Application sent today!

168-3.92 GPA. International applicant (Canada)

I had applied last year but was rejected. However, even if my numbers are a bit low for HLS (especially the LSAT), I think I have a best shot because I am applying early in the cycle rather than in mid-January like last year (I had a really huge technical problem with LSAC and my transcripts... long story). Anyways, fingers crossed & good luck everyone! :)

I'm holding off until I finish my diversity statement, but I hope to submit soon. I didn't write a DS for any of the other schools, but for HYS, I think it's worth the effort. It's a hail mary anyway, but I figure it's worth a shot!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
