Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
So I'm checking in here. Just got my LSAT score, so I'll probably apply within the next week or two. Can anybody offer advice on how much my 3.85 GPA (.04 below the median) is going to hurt? My 174 is pretty safely median, but I don't look forward to waitlist purgatory for months. Is that the most likely scenario for me?

High LSAT scores are an increasingly rare commodity these days. At least that's what I tell myself.Cicero76 wrote:So I'm checking in here. I've got a 175 and 3.73, so I'll get back to you on the GPA question if I get an interview within the next few weeks.Cicero76 wrote:So I'm checking in here. I'll let everyone know as well. Super-splitter, applied in early October. If I get an interview with my GPA, most of you should be in the clear.Cicero76 wrote:So I'm checking in here. Baring HYS, where do you want to end up? You're in at Cornell already yeah?shntn wrote:I'll let everyone know as well. Super-splitter, applied in early October. Cornell and UCLA so far. I don't have any major preference at this point, though I don't like NYC very much and do like Chicago. It'll mostly come down to scholarship money, I expect. I'm basically up for the highest bidder.danitt wrote:Baring HYS, where do you want to end up? You're in at Cornell already yeah?shntn wrote:I'll let everyone know as well. Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Harvard's 25th percentile GPA dropped to 3.77 and the 75th to 3.95, so I would think the median is now around 3.86, though I cannot find this info. Also, with the drop in 25th percentile LSAT to 170 and 75th to 175, I'd say you are safely above median for the LSAT! So basically I think you have a good chance of getting an interviewCicero76 wrote:So I'm checking in here. Just got my LSAT score, so I'll probably apply within the next week or two. Do you think a 4.0/170 can somehow swing maybe even a waitlist?

Haha you all realize the hypocrisy (which I am now taking part in) of bumping the thread to say how nervous you get when the thread is bumped? No more bumping until we get another JS1!JedBartlett wrote:This really is stressing me out more than it should. I'm already in Duke, Cornell, and Gtown but I want that HLS interview! Any ideas on which other T14s we can expect to hear from in November? Michigan next week and UVA around Thanksgiving, but anything else?
