I wouldn't

I can't speak to Harvard, but I definitely sent thank you notes for my other ls interviews. usually waited a couple days and then shot it offredbrickwall wrote:Are JS and KB the only people doing the interview?

A friend of mine that was accepted DID send a thank you following her JS1.jbagelboy wrote:I can't speak to Harvard, but I definitely sent thank you notes for my other ls interviews. usually waited a couple days and then shot it offredbrickwall wrote:Are JS and KB the only people doing the interview?

I guess the way I feel about it is... You obviously want to go, that's why you applied. Sending a thank you will probably just get read by some office staff, which they may not even attach to your file.. And it has just "wasted" their time.jbagelboy wrote:I can't speak to Harvard, but I definitely sent thank you notes for my other ls interviews. usually waited a couple days and then shot it offredbrickwall wrote:Are JS and KB the only people doing the interview?

I think you should, and I don't even think it's questionable.redbrickwall wrote:Thanks for the input so far.
I'm the type who always sends thank you cards. And I did send them after my other interviews and meetings with admissions people. Those were all in-person though, and I was wondering what your thoughts were given that HLS conducts interviews via Skype.
I didn't - I really don't think it matters what you dotrojandave wrote:I did. Lots of people on here did. It won't hurt you, so if it feels right, do it
I don't think there will be another "round".. 5-10 helds might get interviews over the next 2 weeks and then its off the waitlistJcastro1 wrote:wonder when the next round of JS/KB1's are going out?

Holds reported via email earlier today on the previous page ITT.lijun wrote:Who else out there still hasn't heard anything? (I'm a January complete)
Is not having heard anything better/worse/equal to being held at this point?
Do holds even go out at this point or should I just expect a decision soon?
They still seem to be up for holding people. Slightly better in my view but a hold seems to be the most likely outcome.lijun wrote:Who else out there still hasn't heard anything? (I'm a January complete)

No. Prepare for either.redbrickwall wrote:Can you find out who you have before the interview?
Not sure if this is directed at me, but I am well aware of that fact. My statement is not meant to be taken literally. Post JS1 for almost 50 days now. Nevertheless, I still feel solidarity with the held faction.wert3813 wrote:Not to state the obvious, but as long as Harvard is still holding people, there is a difference between being held and not being held. I know what you mean, because they have been in fact holding your application. However, not being officially held means that you are in a better position than the rest of us held kids, currently.bosmer88 wrote:I am well aware of that fact. Ugh no not really you. More everyone's favorite sunshiner on the previous page (I only tease because I love).bosmer88 wrote:Not sure if this is directed at me, but I am well aware of that fact. I think it should be reiterated that we all do actually love az and his, erm, realism.wert3813 wrote:Ugh no not really you.
