For past JS1-ers, did you receive an email that stated, "Admissions must confirm your request"? Just wondering and freaking out.

One interesting note:

If you look at this coming week's schedule for interviews, there are slots each day. However, there are two different "HLS Interviewer"s you can select. I assume one is KB and the other JS. According to the schedule, one is interviewing M-Th (but not Friday), and the other is only interviewing on Wednesday and Friday, but is M, T, and Th free. Think this could mean we may be seeing a small trickle of JS1s and/or JS2s throughout the week since M, T, Th, and F each only have one person interviewing, with the other free.

If we agree with this....JS is free today,tomorrow, and Thursday. Considering that JS1's are going out today. We can hope that JS2's come out tomorrow?!

Quick question: is there a skype name we should send a request too before the interview or do they send it to me? If they send it, about how many minutes before the scheduled time do they send it?

I think we're at the "any day now" stage. Those of us who interviewed last Tuesday are at 6 days -- clearly in the precedent "kill zone" for a JS2. I don't think it will be long before a wave goes out. I just hope I'm in it. And you too. And all of you JS1 vets out there. And especially Lavitz.

You don't have to do anything other than be on Skype from around 5 minutes before your interview time. Also, my interview was at 1pm and they sent the request at 4am the night before (according to Skype, but this seems dubious). Good luck! Now all you need to do is relax and get ready to have an enjoyable conversation. Prepare but don't stress. It seems like that's the key.

You don't have to do anything other than be on Skype from around 5 minutes before your interview time. Knowing this still hasn't prevented me from incessantly logging on after my JS1 with the hope that some tiny pixel will change and give me some clue one way or the other. You can all laugh at me if you like, but I know damn well many of you are doing the same thing.

Apparently while I was looking at my old email that said my application was complete I accidentally hit the mark as unread button... so then I got a notification a few momens later that I had one new email FROM HARVARD!!!!!! My heart stopped beating. Then realized.....it was from November.... jeez, this excitement is too much.
