Hey everyone! Sorry if it has been asked before. My application status is currently " application complete " ( applied in mid september) Will my status remain like this until I either get a JS1 or get dinged, or will it change in the meantime to under review?

They're not doing the "under review" this year, and the status doesn't change when you get a JS1. So it'll stay at complete until you're accepted, held, waitlisted or rejected.

I am not basing this on anything but I think that people are getting interviews later in the cycle than they would have because The Skype interview is longer and harder to coordinate which slows everything down. people with numbers that last cycle already got interviews at this time of the year are probably not going to get them for another few more days... but that's just one man's opinion

They're not doing the "under review" this year, and the status doesn't change when you get a JS1. So it'll stay at complete until you're accepted, held, waitlisted or rejected.

I think so. My guess is since interviews end on Thursday, Harvard will decide whom to admit on Friday, and the calls will go out on Monday.

I think that's the most likely time as well, though I'm still waiting for them to post the interview schedule for next week. If Monday isn't an option, I would take it as a sign that they plan on doing the JS2s that day.

Still, I wouldn't be too surprised if they came out after Thanksgiving this year, only because I don't know whether the new interview format plus an earlier Thanksgiving will delay them.

I'm sorry, but that's not correct. Everyone who eventually gets accepted always has to go through an interview first. I've never heard of an exception to this.

I'm sorry, but that's not correct. Everyone who eventually gets accepted always has to go through an interview first. I've never heard of an exception to this.

That was not my impression from reading the interviews that have been done with JS and her predecessors....but, I acknowledge that you're probably more schooled on the HLS process than I am. I'd have to go back and figure out how I got that impression....but in the meantime, I yield the point.

but I do think ppl with "stellar number" havent gotten interviews because the process is taking longer... longer interviews that are harder to coordinate...
