How do they know? Were you guy in the Yale sweatshirt?

With your LAST and GPA I really don't think it will make a significant difference either way. Your numbers are still competitive with the GPA drop or without. The way I see it though, why let law school admissions change the plan you started 4 years ago? You set out to get the degree, you worked hard, and you should get it. And that grade is still solid. It doesn't reflect negatively since everything else in your file is so good, and I'd hate to see you quit on something so close to the end just for an over-thought "maybe". And if they do see the final transcript, quitting could reflect worse than the grade... Just my thoughts though.

I'm feeling good about today BECAUSE OF March Madness. Suddenly, HLS can take their sweet time; I've got some ball to watch.

I think the whole "admissions office open" this week may have been...less than accurate.
I just got an email from JS offering to put admitted students in touch with current HLS students who chose HLS over other schools and scholarships. It's not personalized, so it could have been typed up weeks ago and just scheduled to go out automatically, but it's something.
+1. I'm still really intimidated by JS and kind of afraid to respond even though it's a really nice email. :D

Also, my email forwarding seems to have started working somehow.

ETA MOTM I think it's probably a time thing. They might not want to be like "what's going on with your decision" until you've had a good while to think about it and a cushion where you've likely heard from competing places about admissions/scholarship.
Also got the email, I'm a 3/1 admit if that seems to help

They probably only send the email to the people they ACTUALLY accepted, not the people they fake-accepted.

They're just waiting to let the prank play out.

Never got one of those, but I did get an email to speak with a HLS Supreme Court clerk.

It's getting pretty lonely over here in post JS1 land. Tomorrow makes exactly one month since my KB1.

I've been post JS1 for quite some time now, talking more than 50 days easy. 617 numbers, my email, missed calls - I have developed a weird phobia/longing for it all.

Yeah...there are a solid 2 weeks' worth of JS1s that still haven't heard anything.

I still am hopeful for a late push today, or perhaps more realistically tomorrow, but who knows.

I know the data is a little outdated and it's been posted before, but THIS really makes me nervous:

I havent looked through the 2015 thread but do you think the only reason they did admits during spring break last year was because they were running behind? Didn't JS only become Dean in February?

Just stop trying to guess. There is no point anymore. Until some of us get one and others don't there is no reason to start worrying.

Slash the guessing is what makes it fun....and also frustrating and anxiety inducing, but fun nonetheless.

Sorta like filling out a bracket...

JS1! I know this probably just means months of more excruciating post-js1 waiting but still excited! And they are definitely still doing things this week so maybe JS2s for tomorrow!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
