Heading up to Cambridge on Thursday to visit the school. Any suggestions for things to check out while I'm there? Or does anyone have anything they'd like me to check out and report back on?

I'm from the area and I'd just try and find a parking spot on Mass Ave up North by like Wasserstein or the law school bookstore. Then you can explore the entire campus, and continue on to the Undergrad campus which is an awesome place to walk around. That will take you to Harvard Square which is a great place to shop and grab some food. If you want to go north from the law school you can head up to Porter Square, but there isn't nearly as much there, it's just a popular place to live. If you're looking to spend the whole day out there I'd hop on the red-line at Harvard Square, take it toward Braintree (inbound), and get off at Park Street. That'll take you to the Boston Common and which is virtually the middle of Boston so you can walk anywhere. Explore downtown, go to Faneuil Hall, the North End, anywhere really.

I've heard from a current 1L that in total 33% live on campus (capped by availability of housing), with roughly 50% of 1Ls doing so... and that most people do not bring cars because parking is horrendous.

Does LSAC or Harvard send out a confirmation when they receive your updated transcripts? Or does anyone know about how long it takes for them to go from LSAC to the schools?

P.S. Gratz to all the newly admitted JS2s!

EDIT: I see the report on LSAC now.
