Can you verify that your profile is correct and that you are not a URM? If so, is there anything... unique about your application?

No matter what... Congrats to you, and all of you!

ETA: your profile says 167?

The profile is right -- not a URM. But I'm a non-trad veteran with considerable/unique work experiences. Even w/ the softs though, I did not realistically expect anything and certainly not this early in the sequence. Time to prep for an interview -- thanks for the good karma and good luck to you.

EDIT: profile updated with accurate LSAT.

Still don't know how they plan to do this with longer interviews....but hey, great for them if they want to interview more people! :)

Yeah dude. Aloysha's clearly awesome PS would make him a shoe-in at HYS :P

Great book though. One of the most under-rated trials in literature is the trial in part 11/12 of BK. Like nine lawyers pass out because they give such impassioned speeches.

This interview makes it more clear:
http://www.admissionsdean.com/researchi ... sica-soban

In the past they've interviewed around 1000 and accepted about 850, creating a class of about 550.

This year they're aiming to interview around 1200 applicants, so they're expanding it by 200 folks or so.

Congrats to all the new interviews!

You know, when you look at yield rate for Harvard (2/3), it means that they have to admit roughly 850 people to fill their 560-person class. 850 JS2s out of 1200 JS1s is pretty substantial. Suffice it to say, a JS1 is a really good sign.

So pumped about your JS1. I love it when law schools see value in an applicant outside of the typical, rigid numbers. Pretty surprising for HLS this early on in the cycle. Well, I hope you get in!

Congrats to everyone else! Rooting for y'all :)
