I just withdrew by email. I got an update yesterday on my status page saying my application was STILL incomplete because they were missing letters of recommendation. Not sure how that is possible since those are sent by LSAC along with my transcript through the credential assembly service, and my status page says they have my transcript. I am complete at all other schools I applied to on the same date (17 schools!) and I've already gotten 4 decisions back so it really makes no sense to me. I decided I'd rather give up on Cornell than go back to my recommenders and pester them to resubmit their letters just because one school can't get it together. It's unfortunate because Cornell is a great school and I would have liked for them to consider me.

Best of luck! That sounds really frustrating. I hope you relayed some of that in your withdrawal email so they know that this is a problem.

I sent them a one liner thanking them for their time and consideration. Didn't seem right to tell them off for what was probably a one-off issue. Best of luck to all of you who are waiting to hear from them.

Doesn't really matter now since you already withdrew...but did you maybe forget to assign the letters to Cornell? I forgot for several schools, but luckily caught the mistake shortly after submitting.

Think I'm gonna submit my Why Cornell? today. Went UR1 on 2/4 and said in my app that I'd elaborate on points I made in the brief 'Why Cornell' thing. Probably should get on that.

I can't find if this has been discussed or not, so I'm sorry if it has. I'm a December test-taker, admitted in late January, so I missed out on the Dean's scholarship invite. Does that mean I'm not look at very much (half or more) in terms of merit money, or do non-Dean's people still have the chance to get big money?

Lavitz, did you submit your essay well ahead of the deadline? I sent mine over the weekend, so I'm curious if these are coming out on a rolling basis.

Not that it matters, really. My numbers are nowhere near yours. Congrats!
